Hello and welcome to Love in Lawrence, wedding planning services to help create the wedding day of your dreams! My name is Stacie Alldritt, owner and planner at Love in Lawrence–I am so glad you are here.

Since 2016 I have been serving Lawrence, Kansas and surrounding areas with a combination of compassion and collaboration to help couples get down the aisle with ease. As your planner I lean in to learn what is important to you and your fiancé. I want to know what makes your love shine and what values make your hearts beat to bring your wedding day dreams to reality.

Planning a wedding is challenging and often times you can feel like everyone has a different desire, need or dream for your big day. As your planner I help to find the healthy balance in pleasing all the very important people who are a part of your celebration. First and foremost I work to understand what you want and then carefully weigh what others are hoping for without compromising your values and dreams. I am here to take things off of your plate and leave only the fun and inspiring parts of planning to you.

I adore uncovering all the lovely little details that bring forward the sweet sentiments of your love story and the future you are building together. With a background in design I am always eager to help out with your DIY projects and work hard to avoid any Pinterest fails! Your day will shine with moments of your love story woven throughout.

I have truly fallen in love with this line of work. This business allows me to help make the impossible seem possible and ultimately real! I am invested in the next chapter of your life and become a true partner in your life to bring it all together. Along my journey as a planner I have met so many warm hearts and have received an immense amount of gratitude. From full planning to day of coordination and everything in between, we will work to uncover the mix of tasks that you are eager to get off of your plate! Vendor research + Day Of coordination

Probably the most popular combination, couples have found a sense of ease getting a little help at the beginning and a partner for all the day of duties. In these packages Stacie goes to work to finish out your vendor list. Still needing a florist or DJ? Maybe you are struggling to find the perfect caterer. Whatever vendors are left on your list, Stacie can find them for you. Part two of this popular package is Day of Coordination. This service starts six weeks prior to your wedding day and covers all the final details. Deliveries are confirmed, final payments distributed, a meticulous itinerary created and everything in between. Of course, this also ensures Stacie is by your side from dress rehearsal through clean up to provide a stress free and super smooth wedding day.

Your Pinterest board is exploding with ideas for creating the wedding day of your dreams, but how do you know if it will really create the cohesive vision you have been dreaming about? With a Style and Decor Plan we will capture your vision and clearly detail out all the plans for your ceremony, centerpieces, floral design, reception decor and more. This plan leaves you with an excellent blueprint to share with your other vendors to ensure everyone is working on the same goal. Part two of this package is Day of Coordination. This service starts six weeks prior to your wedding day and covers all the final details. Deliveries are confirmed, final payments distributed, a meticulous itinerary created and everything in between. Day of coordination

It’s almost here–your big day! Are you wondering how your wedding day will be exactly as you imagine? Day Of Coordination is the answer! With this service we work together starting six weeks in advance to touch base about all of your vendors and plans for the day. We set a schedule to be sure all the payments and deliveries are set up and build an itinerary for everyone to follow. Then, on your big day, I am there to see that everything and everyone is in its place.

Full Service Planning

This service is for the happy couple looking for help from start to finish. We start from the top with setting a vision for your big day and work all the way until the last song is played. We will work to secure your venue, coordinate with all vendors, determine your itinerary, manage your budget and of course pay attention to all the little details that make your day extra special.

planner dates

 
 

You are eager to tackle the planning head on, but you would like some reassurance and some guidance throughout the process. If this sounds like you, then a Planner Date is a perfect fit! We will meet for a couple hours and discuss whatever details have you under stress or concern. We will get creative together and problem solve until you feel that stress release and the dreaming start again. This is a great investment at 12 months, 9 months, 7 months and 3 months out. I can help you feel certain you are tackling the right tasks and feel organized. Be sure to check out my 12 Month Checklist as a good starting point. Below you will find some suggested times to consider a Planner Date, along with some topics we could work through together.

12 Months Prior:

  • Vendor recommendations

  • Budget planning

  • Things to consider when choosing a venue

  • The style, theme and/or colors for your wedding

9 Months Prior:

  • Wedding website help

  • Invitation planning 

  • Research and book a hotel block

  • Vendor contract review

  • Deposit and payment planning

7 Months Prior:

  • Rehearsal dinner planning

  • Research and help with wedding night accommodations

  • Help with booking florist, cake, musicians, hair and makeup and transportation vendors

4 Months Prior:

  • Printed material design (programs, seating chart, menu, signage)

  • Favors and gifts for guests and wedding party

  • Ceremony planning

style + Decor PLans

 

Your Pinterest board is exploding with ideas for creating the wedding day of your dreams, but how do you know if it will really create the cohesive vision you have been dreaming about? With a Style and Decor Plan we will capture your vision and clearly detail out all of your plans. We start by gathering your inspiration photos and developing two vision board concepts. These concepts will have some contrasting ideas to help us entertain an array of options. Once we determine our overall vision, I move on to detailing each individual component. This typically includes a plan for your ceremony decor, floral, signage and centerpieces. The plan will outline not only the style and aesthetic, but the materials and/or vendors needed to make that vision a reality. Finally, a budget will be provided to thoroughly understand the investment to bring all these components to your big day. Throughout this process we will meet via phone to review the ideas and finalize the plan. This plan is delivered as a PDF document and can be used to facilitate your vision with all of your vendors during your planning process. Your style and decor plan typically takes 2-3 weeks to complete.

Your Style + Decor plan will include:

  • Vision board to convey the overall scheme of the wedding.

  • Decor plans to outline details for signage, centerpieces, ceremony and reception decor. 

  • Execution plan for all decor including sources to purchase all materials needed.

  • Floral concept presentation to help communicate the vision with the florist.

  • Budget plan to outline total cost of all decor materials needed (floral not included), as well as labor costs for Love in Lawrence to execute certain concepts.

spread the love waste management

 

At the end of your wonderful wedding night, the last thing you want to think about is what to do with all the leftovers! Fortunately, our team is very passionate about this topic and we are here to help. With our Spread the Love Waste Management Add-on we will take care of all the logistics to get your food and decor to a happy new home.

Food waste management:

Our team has worked with Just Food to understand the policies and procedures for properly transporting food waste from large events to our community. We will work with you to understand how much food you would like to take home and will properly pack and transport the rest.

Options include:

  • Composting food waste from self-service buffets in partnership with Food Cycle KC (Food Cycle KC fees will apply).

  • Copacking any food not serviced on a self-service buffet into meal-ready containers, properly labeled with date and ingredients for Just Food to distribute through their facility.

  • Collaborting with catering staff to minimize food waste with service plans at the event. This could include reducing a food order and/or serving smaller amounts of food at a time to minimize public contamination.

decor waste management:

In order to minimize decor waste at your wedding, our team will help in the following ways: 

  • Consult on items that are best rented instead of purchased for one time use.

  • Discuss high areas of waste that we experience and brainstorm alternatives. This could include things like favors, desserts and more.

  • Provide cost calculations for disposable versus compostable versus reusable items including dishes, flatware, and cups.

  • Redistribue florals to local senior centers, teachers and anyone who’s day would be brightened with your gorgeous blooms.

  • Donate used candles to Waxman Candles to be melted and poured into beautiful new candles.
